Convenience for multi-user
function in multiple work shift environments is just one
reason to invest in desks whose height is electrically controlled.
For many people and industries, electronic adjustment has
become a necessity that enables people with injuries or
disabilities to comfortably perform effectively at work.
It can also help ease the set up or removal of heavy equipment
from the surface. Push-button height adjustment allows for
incremental adjustments not easily manageable via manual
adjustment or even via pneumatic controls. There are two
sizes of these split-level, Electro-Lift™ motorized computer
desks. One is 60"w so it can accommodate two users or serve
as a wide single-user computer desk. The other model is
48" wide.
A
110 Volt, 60 Hz electric motor has push button controls
you mount on the underside of the desk allowing for leg
height adjustment and offering up to a 14" height adjustment
of the main surface. The secondary keyboard platform is
attached to and adjusts along with the main surface, but
its height can also be independently adjusted using its
manual spring loaded latch lever. Both 1" thick platform
surfaces are sturdy, laminated MDF (available in a choice
of nine vinyl laminated colors), mounted on a 13 gauge,
black tubular steel frame and stable 3"w feet that are 1-1/2"h.

Electric height adjustment between
27-3/4"h to 41-3/4"h.
There is also a 60"w model providing
the same electrical height adjustment of the main surface.

The
roomiest of the two units is 60"w, but there is also a
48"w model. Both feature a 12"d keyboard platform and a
24"d main surface. Electric controls enable significant
incremental adjustment by raising and lowering the legs
to which the main platform is attached. Height adjustment,
measured from the floor, ranges between 27-3/4"h up to a
maximum of 41-3/4"h., so sit down or stand up use is made
possible.
The secondary keyboard platform
connects to the main surface, and this 12"d platform is
designed for additional adjustment via a manual spring loaded
lever. This helps to maximize the ergonomic convenience
and effectiveness for users.
Each leg will hold up
to a maximum of 150 lbs. You can count on the 2" diameter,
13 gauge tubular steel base, which includes the two legs,
feet and bull nose black nylon end caps. Those 1-1/2"h
x 3"w rectangular feet offer stable support strength. Computer
furniture frame assembly is black.

Work surface is a constructed
using strong MDF that is 3-dimensional vinyl laminate. Choose
from these numerous surface colors: Black, Venus Silver,
Mahogany, Studio White, Medium Oak, Haywood Cherry, Russian
Maple, & American Natural Maple.

Unless
specified, your desk will not include a grommet hole in
its surface. However, you have the option of contacting
customer service and placing your desk order with a single
grommet hole installed at no additional charge. If you choose
this option, you must specify its exact preferred location.
(Each additional grommet you order will be at an added charge).
If a grommet is ordered, it will include a plastic grommet
cap. The grommet hole plastic cap diameter is 2-3/8". To
order your desk with a grommet hole, you must contact our
customer service department.
