Use the optional 1-1/2" NPT Extension Column with the standard Speed Connect Ceiling Plate to drop your mount 36 from the ceiling. Do you have a suspended ceiling? Use the Enhanced Lightweight Suspended Ceiling Kit to place your column within a 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 ceiling tile, or use the Advanced Ceiling Tile Replacement Kit to replace above a 2 x 2 ceiling tile or mount above a suspended ceiling.
