This short-throw 3D ready DLP projector incorporates the latest DLP Link technology for high quality 3D projection from a single projector. With 1280 x 800 native resolution and compatibility up through 1600 x 1200, the PG-D2870W is able to project "pixel perfect" images not only from standard XGA and 720p HDTV, but also from Wide-XGA PCs. Thanks to its unique short-throw design, a 100" diagonal WXGA image can be projected from a distance of only 5'1" from the screen, and a 60" diagonal WXGA image can be projected from only 3'1" from the screen. This is ideal for interactive presentations and simplifies projector placement in classrooms and meeting rooms, trade show exhibits and other venues with limited space.
The fully featured PG-D2870W offers a 7 Watt audio system, RJ-45 network connector, built-in closed caption decoder and sealed DLP chip with filter-free design. A wireless remote includes direct access to the 3D function, along with a built-in spotlight function and an on-screen pointer to help guide attendees through presentations. The PG-D2870W also offers several features for energy savings, including low standby power consumption and expanded lamp life when operated in eco mode. When not in 3D mode, the projector offers full compatibility with traditional 2D content.
