Enclosing your mount and projector within this solid steel
cage provides up to four levels of protection: First, just
the sight of its installation can deter a thief from even
attempting to gain entry; Second, the installation is made
safe with security screws which makes removal extremely
difficult; Third, the design of the unit allows for the
addition of a padlock (not included) should you choose.
Fourth, the strong steel enclosure helps prevent recreational
damage if your unit happens to be mounted in a sports setting
such as a gym. Yet this unit also allows roll, pitch and
yaw for proper image registration if your mounting system
enables those independent adjustments.
This accessory security
cage is a frequently requested item and is available in
two sizes. The largest has an outside overall dimension
of 10.18"h x 20.52"w
x 20.375"d, while the smaller model measures 10.18"h x 16.14"w x 16.37"d
overall exterior. Your order will provide you with the cage
itself. The actual projector mount and any other accessories,
such as ceiling extension columns (the cage is designed
to accommodate a 1-1/2"NPT extension column), must be ordered
separately. Adjustable front openings can accommodate different
lens positions. Hinged front and rear panels offer easy
access.
