a modular shelving system in mahogany or grey that grows

There is a Quarter Round-shaped shelf style and a rectangular-shaped
style. Both are available in 3-, 4-, 5-, or 6-shelf heights
and can be coordinated together or used separately. For
a "steel-like" look, order yours in Grey, or maintain the
same open shelf construction but in a darker Mahogany color.
Shelves are strong, 3/4" thick, vacuum-formed MDF that have
1" diameter aluminum posts supporting the shelves. Perfect
for business and home offices.
All these Linx shelving
units are designed with a set of industrial 3" casters (locking)
making maneuvering them into place much easier. In today's
offices, change and flexibility are the name of the game.
The caster mobility plus the system's modular construction
will allow you to respond to change and redesign a system
or even the location of different shelf systems as needed.

next to each other, as shown above,
creates a filing system with a
footprint of just 32-1/2"w x 16-1/4"d.

You don't have
to be overwhelmed by bulky, fixed-position shelving units
any longer. The adaptable, multi-sided, mobile rolling shelves
provide solutions that make the most of your space and are
able to meet continually changing office needs. You're never
stuck with any one layout.
The two basic designs - Rectangular
and Quarter Round - can be combined to extend out as long
as you need. Set two, three, four, five, or more rectangular
units end to end, and, if you want, place Quarter Rounds
on each of the end units that will provide more shelf filing
as well as a softened contemporary style!
Each unit is independent. That means that though you may
team several individual Quarter Rounds and Rectangular shelves
together in order to create a larger overall filing system,
there is no physical connection between each shelf system.
Instead you merely roll each of these coordinating units
next to each other and set their brakes. This offers you
faster and easier set up, and it saves you the labor of
"undoing" any more attachments if you need to change the
configuration of the shelving system anytime in the future.

Each of the 3/4" MDF shelves have an overall, evenly distributed
weight capacity of 70 lbs. The 1" diameter aluminum posts
provides 13-3/8" height clearance between shelf levels so
you can place 3-ring binders, file organizers, magazine
files and other contents easily. The 16-1/4"d Rectangular
shelves can also accommodate most printers or fax machines.
The heavy-duty units are designed on 3" industrial casters.
You also have the option of ordering an add-on shelf kit
if you just want to create one additional shelf level onto
an existing unit.
