Modular mail

requirements.
Sturdy cubes
measure an
overall
12"w x 15"h
x 15-3/4"d overall
and are routed
internally so
you can arrange
your choice of
trays, drawers,
or vertical
panels inside;
or leave some
empty to hold
packages. The
trays have a
depth
that will manage
legal-sized
envelopes or
reports, but
if you prefer
not to have deep
trays, optional
tray stops can
be purchased
which will make
the depth more
manageable for
letter-sized
mail sorting.
Stow your keys
or supply items
out of sight in
drawers stacked
inside a cube if
that's most
convenient for
you. Vertical
panels are also
available. Add on cubes,
delete or add
trays or
drawers, or
completely
change the
entire system
layout according
to your business
needs. It's easy
to expand from a
3-wide/2-high
system (shown at
right) to a
5-wide/3-high,
for example, by
adding
components.
The wooden
components are
made of sturdy
MDF with real
wood veneer.
Order your
components in
any of these
three color
finishes and
create
upscale,
functional
mailroom
furniture. The
top and
underside of
each cube are
also routed for
more stable
stacking, and
the four
platform widths
available
provide you
means to more
securely
stabilize larger
systems by
setting one
between every
couple levels of
cubes.

The raised,
horizontal desk
mounted
sorter (shown at
right) features
twelve cubes, ten
sets of trays (3
trays per set),
four drawers,
one set of
Vertical Panels
Dividers, and
two 5-wide
platforms. In a
raised
configuration
such as this, do
not build more
than 3 levels
high total, as
pictured.
There are
several
distinctions
between the
specialized mail
collection
presented here
and the various
office filing
WoodWorx™
components:
first, the
wooden
components are
sized larger to
allow for the
needs of mail
organization.
Also, the mail
system drawers
are not
self-stacking,
but are designed
to fit within
the mail cube.
Finally, the
tray stops are
only designed to
work in the
legal-sized
trays of the
mail system so
that the tray
depth will then
be reduced to
letter-size.
This system of
mail sorters and
the regular
filing system
components do
not interconnect
and cannot be
intermixed.
