The slim aluminum
frame design is
carried down to
a narrow accessory
tray. The thin plastic
end caps applied
the ends of the
tray on this dry
erase marker board
provide a measure
of safety, because
they blunt the metal
tray corner.
While this economical
model board doesn't
include a map display
rail, if that is
a requirement for
you, check our
standard porcelain
on steel boards.
A porcelain coating
is applied over
the magnetic steel
core that's laid
over the base 1/4"
MDF. By
utilizing a moisture
resistant MDF substrate,
your board is provided
additional protection
against warping.

The smooth low-grade surface
of our board accommodates
colorful marker pens with

surface erases easily without
ghosting. Use dry cloth,
tissue or a conventional
eraser.

Designing attractive magnetic dry erase boards that are backed by a 50 year guarantee against defects in material or workmanship means they're built tough!
Both sides of steel are treated with applications of a precisely balanced porcelain enamel ground coat. That creates a uniform, fused surface. The first furnace fuses ground coat enamel into heat softened 28 gauge steel (or optional 24 gauge steel) at approximately 1450° F. The ColorFusion ceramic top coat is applied which provides the desired color and fade resistance. The second firing furnace fuses a face coat enamel to the ground coat enamel.
The lifetime verified porcelain is then bonded with waterproof resin glue to the MDF core with aluminum back. The MDF resists moisture 14 degrees more than standard particle board cores for a more stable marker board surface over time. A removable poly-film coating covers your board's surface during shipping.
