Glare reduction with an anti glare screen. One issue associated with computer use has been glare and reflections. Glare is the light in a field that's brighter than other objects, such as your screen. When ambient light is brighter than the light emitted by the monitor, it may "wash out" of the screen image, or cause loss of contrast. Office lighting is normally adjusted higher for reading paperwork, but generally a computer monitor is easier to read in settings where the light is set lower. In addition to the typical overhead lighting found in offices, another source of light (and glare), is sunlight that streams through glass windows onto the monitor glass. The multiple-thin anti-reflective coatings which the optically pure annealed glass is treated with, reduce glare up to 99.6% on deluxe models, or up to 95% on standard models.  Both sides of the deluxe model has been treated  with four reflective coatings; on the standard model, there are four coatings on one side of the filter's lens.

There are computer filters offering protection from radiation and static.  Studies have shown that a certain amount of radiation is emitted from CRT computer screens. This is not the same type of radiation used in nuclear power plants or submarines. CRTs emit a type called ELF (extremely low frequency) and VLF (very low frequency), and these are the same emissions generated by such household electrical equipment as televisions, hair dryers and audio equipment, for example.

Increased computer use has promoted concerns about the health problems that may occur from this radiation emission. To address this issue, we offer CRT screen filters that will eliminate most potentially harmful radiation with its high standard glass substrate covered in multiple protective coatings. The radiation models offered feature conductive coatings and as much as 99.999% reduction in E-field radiation - the highest in the industry - and block UVA/UVB radiation. If static is a problem in your work area, these same radiation filters also include a grounding cord. When that is installed, there's 100% elimination of static emission.
