The
Forsythia model indirect lamp is designed to be more flexible
in placement than the majority of panel mount lamps. These
ambient lamps have been designed with a sliding bracket
along the back channel of the fixture; you can even mount
this lamp on panels not as wide as the lamp itself. Fixtures
are customized per panel system, so let us know the manufacturer
and office panel system name to which this fixture is to
be attached. A cross reference chart is provided so you
may check if this lamp can be configured for your particular
panel system.
This fixture measures 6.3"d x 1.2"h and is available in
three different lengths. Its design includes one T5 high
output fluorescent 3500k bulb to be placed parallel in the
fixture. You'll enjoy more than 45% more initial lumens
(measurement of lamp output) than produced by a standard
T5 lamp of the same size. Add to that consideration the
16,000 hours average life of the high output bulbs, plus
their color clarity of a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of
85, and you understand this quality fixture will provide
satisfying ambient illumination.

Ambient lighting
may be defined as an area's light source that provides general
illuminations. Ambients are not designed to provide focused
task desk lighting, however. This up-light ambient is constructed
of extruded aluminum and it's been designed with a metalized
mylar reflector. The lamp provides upward illumination over
work areas which can then also bounce off ceilings. There's
easy access to the black two-position rocker, because it's
been set at the center of the fixture.

A baked enamel coating of the color of your choice is then
applied to the extruded aluminum housing. Below you will

us know which you prefer. Most of these standard colors
will result in a two to four week lead time prior to shipping.

Electronic ballasts offer
you energy savings. Compared to magnetic ballasts, you'll
enjoy cooler temperature operation, elimination of audible
humming, minimized flickering caused by voltage fluctuations
caused by copiers and laser printers, as well as elimination
of interference with video display terminal (VDT)
through omission of EMI (electro magnetic interference).

x 6.3"d housing comes in three lengths but sliding brackets
provide increased mounting flexibility.

Not all panel systems are made the same. Manufacturer designs
and depths of the frames can vary, so lamp connection brackets
must be created to match these. Check our
cross reference chart.
Find your panel system manufacturer and the system name
to which you want to mount these panel lamps. If your system's
name is not on the chart, a suitable bracket for this lamp
may not yet be available. However, contact us to inquire
further, because compatibility information is continually
being updated. |

You'll notice in the above chart that these housings can
be connected to panels significantly smaller than the Forsythia
fixture measures. For example, the model ITA-24 actually
measures 22.93"L, yet it can be connected to an office panel
that only measures 12"L or one measuring as long as 24"L..
That's because it is designed with adjustable brackets that
can slide along the rear channel.
