Floor Light - Compact Fluorescent Lamp - Has Weighted Base for Open Areas

Floor light is freestanding for open office area. A 72"h steel weighted base pole can elevate this ambient light so it will illuminate areas occupied by several workstations. This continuous indirect light will fill the open spaces, tying the work areas together. When the 30-1/2"L x 8"d x 2.38"h floor lights are mounted onto poles the overall height is 75"h. This Ovation lamp mounting provides three styles of pole options. For example, while the basic unit is a plain pole, there is also a model with a convenience outlet (CO) to power 110/120 volt devices up to 10 amps. Another model of freestanding poles includes the CO port plus a data port (DP) for computer or telephone connections. The round, weighted base has a 14" diameter.

Compact fluorescent lamp features two 55 Watt compact fluorescent 3500k bulbs. These ambient "up lights" are rated at a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 82 which, on a scale of 100, indicates highly accurate, natural color illumination. The housing sets them into an ambient light position, where their indirect light will shine upwards and then bounce off the ceiling. The energy efficient bulbs have an average life span of 12,000 hours which translates to low overall replacement costs. In addition compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) provide flicker free illumination. Plus, using high quality CFLs has been found to aid in the reduction of carbon monoxide in the environment.

Order your ambient office floor lighting on any of three poles designed to fit various needs. The lamp housing, which is mounted on the top of these steel poles, broadens the illumination range over an area of office space. The computer designed reflector also helps to optimize the distribution of light and control light output. All models are UL and CUL Listed.

Which floor light stand meets your needs: The basic OAL-F model simply provides you the plain standing pole and weighted base along with the compact fluorescent lighting fixture.

If you require connectivity, there are two models that have the lamp on poles that can provide easy access to power or data functions independently from other furniture. Those are:

The OAL-F-CO model provides the additional feature of a convenience outlet (CO) that can power any 110/120 volt device up to 10 amps. All other standard features are included.

The upscale OAL-F-CO-DP model provides you the complete package of standard features, plus the CO and the additional functionality of a data port (DP). The DP gives you a computer or telephone connection.

All models include a 15'L black cord. A black, two position switch at the bottom of the lamp's housing offers easy access.

Using freestanding units for ambient lighting, along with task lighting on desks, provides an ergonomic and energy efficient office set-up.
