Compact fluorescent lamps designed to be mounted on top of panel system shelf. These lamp fixtures have been designed to establish even ambient lighting in an office area using any of several professional panel systems. This particular design allows you to mount the die-formed 24-gauge steel units onto the top of the shelf designed into the manufacturer's office panel systems. The translucent and specular diffuser help create remarkably bright indirect light when mounted on top of shelving units. Available in any of five lengths.

Our work lights are designed well for a wide variety of office settings and available in a choice of color finishes. The Bluebell compact fluorescent lamp fixture provides you with two T5 high output 3500K bulbs which are to be set within the housing. The 24-gauge steel housing has 16-gauge end plates. The two position switch is located at the bottom of the housing on the opposite side from where the 9"L straight black cord exists. You are offered a choice of color finishes to help complement the office decor (see color chart link below).

High output compact fluorescent lamps offer more accurate color rendering, energy and cost savings. These fixtures come with two T5 high output 3500K bulbs. One thing noteworthy about them is their Color Rendering Index (CRI), which is 85, making these bulbs the most color accurate fluorescent source available presently.

T5 high output lamps produce approximately 45% more initial lumens than a standard T5 lamp of similar size. Their end caps are flat to match the body. The average life of these bulbs is 16,000 hours, which translates to lower lamp replacement cost as well as lower resultant labor cost. Compared to an incandescent and halogen bulb, these lamps operate cooler, with resultant potential office cooling cost reduction.

As shown in the graphic to the left, two bulbs mount parallel inside the housing. While there are five housing lengths to choose from, the overall standard housing width is 6-1/2"w and their height is 1-3/4"h.

Advantages to using a fluorescent lamp with an electronic ballast. These ambient lights utilize an electronic ballast. There are several advantages realized from this, compared to lamps using a magnetic ballast. First, electronic ballasts decrease energy costs because they operate at cooler temperatures. Second, due to their solid state construction, audible humming (which is often associated with magnetic ballasts) is eliminated. Third, flicker caused by voltage fluctuations is minimized. Fourth, this ballast eliminates interference with Video Display Terminals (VDTs) through the omission of electro magnetic interference (EMI).
